1) A description of the object to be produced

A public attention piece for the Tech Model Railroad Club:
The object to be produced is a piece of railroad track, dimensions to be determined. A number of these objects will be laid down from N51 where the TMRC is located, along the sidewalks of Massachusetts Avenue, to the main building of MIT, Building 7 during the TMRC's Open House on April 30, 2005.
The intention is to invite the MIT community to take notice of this special niche at MIT. Each piece of track will have specific information relating to the club engraved on it, ie. club name and logo, web address.
