Mr. America Jack 'Mr. America!' A shout rings out in the Afghan city. The Afghan solders run from their homes, as do the children and their mothers. Suddenly, a large, black foot that looks as if it has been dropped from the sky smashes a house. One Afghan wrote down what he saw and sent it to me in a box. What was inside was frightening. It was a hand drawn sketch of what appeared to be the famous Mr. America. My contact showed me how to color it in and make a new Mr. America drawing for our government to see and how to stop it. This is what he wrote to me. You can tell it is not to full scale by the because of the measurements, but try to imagine. Mr. America's feet are black and about a half an inch high and two and a half an inches long. Don't forget he has TWOOOO feet. Next are his legs. He has three parts to each leg. A joint, and two others. The bottom part of the leg is attached to the end of the foot so each leg is about an inch apart and the leg is blue and an inch and a half high and from my measurements, appears to be half an inch wide. Next, the joint. The joint is circular and white and guess what? Only one measurement!!! This circle's diameter appears to be a half and inch. Now the top part of the leg is basically the same as the blue part of the leg but this part is as red as a fire hydrant. Mr. America's chest is one and three quarters inches wide, and two inches tall. The bottom half of his chest is striped. The first stripe starts at the left and is red. The stripe is a quarter of an inch wide and an inch high. The next stripe is white and to the right of the red stripe. The stripe is a little bit longer than a quarter of an inch long and an inch high. The stripe to the right of the white one is blue. This stripe is a half of an inch wide and an inch high. To finish the chest you must color in the top half of it black. Starting in the middle and going left at an 80 degree angle is a blue part of an arm. The arm is one and a quarter inches long and an eight of an inch wide. The joint, same as before, is white and circular. The joint is a half of an inch in diameter. Now, to the red part of the arm. This part of the arm is just like the blue part but a half a millimeter wider and going down at a little further than an 80 degree angle. The hand is split into different parts. One is the palm and the other the fingers. We will start with the palm. The palm is circular, blue and a centimeter is diameter. Off the palm there are seven fingers. The fingers are red. Each finger is two notches past a centimeter long and each is a half a centimeter wide. Please note that each finger has a little space between each other. Coming out of the black part of the chest looking as if it has come out of the other side the body is another arm. The arm is strait. The part of the arm that is closer to the chest is blue. The part of the arm is three fourths of an inch long and one and a half centimeters wide. The joint is the same as the other joint on the arm you did before. The next part of the arm is the same as the blue part of the arm but it is red. The palm and the fingers are the same as the other arms too. Now, to the head. The head is one and a half inches tall and three inches wide. Now look carefully at the directions now. Do not color this in yet, but an inch from the left of the head is black. I said not to color this in yet because a centimeter and a half from the bottom of the head and still in the black part of the head is a light green eye the width is a half a centimeter and length is one and a quarter centimeter. Then there is a big A in the middle of the forehead. The A is a centimeter from the right from the black area of the forehead. Now to the American flag. The blue part of the flag has some quickly drawn stars on it, 12 in all. The square, that the stars are inside is blue (obviously) it is two centimeters wide and tall. Now are the stripes. There are five in all. The top stripe is red and a centimeter wide then the stripe, because it is horizontal the stripe just disappears off the right side of the head. The next stripe is white and the same as the red one. By now you should be on a red stripe that starts under the blue star box. That stripe is is red and the same as the last two stripes. Now to the white stripe. It is the same as the other stripes. Lastly is a red stripe. As the others it is the same width as the other stripes. Now you should have a centimeter left of the head on the bottom. Color this in with black and connect it to the other black parts of the head. My contact also told me in his letter that it sounded deadly. Its parts squeaked and groaned as if they were old mens' backs. My contact also was lucky enough to get a small piece of Mr. America. He said it felt smooth and rough in the bottom left corner. He said he did not know where it came from. One thing is for sure, you don't want to get in front of Mr. America.
