Barkalotiguess Katy5 Important: First do the drawing in pencil lightly, then outline and color with the colors you are instructed to. Please read all of the directions first, then begin. You are about to draw a picture of Barkalotiguess. She is a monster dog. Even though she is one hundred feet tall in real life, have in mind that Barkalotiguess is skinny, and leaves a lot of room on the two sides and bottom. She is about 9 inches tall, from the tip of her head to the bottom of her long toe. From angel wing to angel wing Barky measures about 5 inches. Well, good luck! Imagine how you would draw a dog that is sitting down and looking straight at you. Also, have in mind a kind dog, but with some features of a monster. Have that in your head? Okay, you will now start drawing. Draw an outline of a dog with its's two front feet and ears missing, and there are no toes on the two hind feet. Now, have the two front feet start at about Barkalotiguess's mid- chest. These feet come all the way down , and pass her hind feet. But still, not touching the bottom, or anywhere near the bottom of the page. At the end of each of these feet there are three toes, with the middle toe, a little bit more longer than the rest of them. From the long toe to the bottom of the page there should be about 2 inches left. Do you have the basic outline of Barky's head? Okay then, you can now add the ears. The ears are floppy, and come down to about the middle of Barky's head. Next, on the top of her head draw two little antennas coming out about right above her ears. At the end of each of the antennas draw a little doggy bone. Now, onto the eyes. Barky has nine eyes. Four of the nine are towards the top of the head, and the five others are underneath the four. All of the pupils inside of the eyes are looking down, except for two. The two eyes that are in the right hand corner are looking cross-eyed at each other. After you have completed that draw a round, ball-like nose. This nose is in the middle of Barky's face. It's not that big, and it's about the size of your thumb. She has a smiling mouth, that looks just like a dog's mouth would look like. It looks like two hooks pointing opposite directions. Next, is a part you might get a little confused. Did you ever see on a dog whiskers? Well, these dots are where the whiskers come out of. They look just like freckles. On each side of Barky's nose there are three dots. Two are on top of each other, and one is across from the middle of the two, forming a sideways triangle. These dots look like the shape of the finger holes of a bowling ball. You finished the head! Now onto the neck and body. On the neck of Barky you will draw a collar. This collar has jingle bells on it. You don't have to draw them fancy, just round circles, like the nose. There are four bells that are right next to one another. Next, Barky has angel wings. They are small, fluffy-looking wings. The wings start at the place where the collar is and ends about 1 and a half inches down. Lastly, Barky has three tails. They are all on your right of the dog. They are aligned one on top of another. The middle tail is the longest, and the two ones on the end are about the same length. You are on the home stretch! Just for the colors!
