We had to build our monsters out of pattern blocks. Here is what you need: 
1 hexagon, 6 triangles, 9 squares, and 4 trapezoids.

1. Place 2 triangles on the top flat side of hexagon making ears sticking strait up.
2. Place 1 square for a neck and below that place 4 squares on each side for the wings.
3. (Left-right) Take your first trapezoid and set it small end downward, second trapezoid small end upward, (bottom row), third trapezoid small end upward, fourth trapezoid small end downward (making an arrow pointing to the right).
4. Add two feet by taking four triangles (two for each foot) and under the trapezoids make the triangles point inward toward each other. And now your ready to trace!
5. Make the same shape inside of the stomach and ears. Make lines on the wings curving outward. Add a tail and claws.
6. Give Batcat big eyes, a triangle nose, and a mouth with teeth. Color the tail and inside shape pink. Color Batcat yellow and orange stripes. Good luck!
