Fly Devil Alex Alex Fly Devil Starting with the eyes, first make a small ' inch circle. To the right if this circle, make a larger ' inch circle, touching the smaller circle. In the center of each eye, draw one very small circle. Now, draw a small black dot in the center of the very small circles. Next, to create the forehead, draw an arch connecting the small eye to the large eye. Make an oval for the nose, ' inch long, by connecting the oval to the bottom of the large eye, then slanting down and to the left. Make a "half-oval" for the bottom lip, ' inch wide, starting in the middle of the right side of the nose reaching down to the center of the nose where the nostrils would be. Going to the top of the forehead, make one devil horn going outward to the right above the right eye. Then, make one devil horn going outward to the left above the left eye. Next, create wings connected to the outside edge of each eye by making two, ' inch long arches, one arch below the other, going out on each side. Now, make a zigzag arch below these double arches. This is your full wing. To give the illusion of light surrounding the monster's face, make a dozen small dashes, about a cm long, randomly placed but circling the monster, "spraying out" away from the horns, wings and face. To add dimension to the bottom lip (to split the lip in half), make a short curved line, like a small "c", going diagonally down through the center of the lip. To make the monster look as if it is flying through the air, to give it a path of "speed", make a 3-4 inch long, gently curved, upside-down arch starting at the middle of the right edge of the right devil horn, slanting to the right, stretching out behind and to the right of the right wing. To complete the illusion of movement, make a 3-4 inch long, gently curved arch starting from the middle of the bottom lip, stretching out parallel to the arch above. Your monster is finished. COLORS: RED - center (smallest circle) of eyes and devil horns BLUE - forehead, larger circles of eyes GREEN - wings GRAY - "light" around the monster YELLOW - illusion of flying movement or "speed" BROWN - nose and mouth
